Join us for a night of themed food and entertainment at our Chefs at Sea series aboard the Beauport Cruiselines!  Enjoy a unique evening of festive music, and fresh tastes of Mediterranean street food prepared by featured Chef Rory Lee of Moona

The Restaurant: Moona

Moona cherishes the culinary tradition of nourishment, sustenance and purity in the Arabic and Eastern Mediterranean tradition. Dishes are served in a sharable format. The word “moona” or “mouneh” in slang comes from the Arabic word mana or ma’oona, meaning “storing.” In other words, it’s the English equivalent of the “pantry.”  In the past, especially in remote villages in the Arab World, the moona was prepared during the bountiful harvest for consumption during winter’s harsh days, providing fundamental nourishment for the daily meal, having transformed perishable produce into food with a long shelf life. Things such as olives, pickles, preserved lemons, cheese, spices, herbs, jams, etc.

The menu for the evening is as follows:

While no substitutions for presented food are available we will make every effort to accommodate the dietary needs of our guests whenever possible. Your $80 ticket is all-inclusive providing food, entertainment and the price of your cruise and tour. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available on a cash-bar basis. Food is presented in a tasting format and seating is open. Attire is casual and the duration of the cruise is 3 hours.
